We wanted to keep you informed about our proactive measures regarding the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) Section 1071.
Understanding the importance of this regulation for our industry, we designed and began developing a solution to ensure that equipment finance lenders can easily comply with Section 1071. However, with the recent Supreme Court ruling, the implementation of CFPB 1071 has been delayed until 2026. We’ve decided to pause further development for now. We’re closely monitoring the situation and are prepared to resume our work on this solution, should the regulation move forward.
