  • File attachment support for D&B report files (HTML BIR, HTML Comprehensive Report, raw JSON, transformed payload), configurable per D&B Service Provider.

Information on Migrating from Connected Apps to External Client Apps

Salesforce is retiring the legacy Connected App framework in favor of External Client Apps (ECAs). Your existing integrations continue to work today — nothing breaks right now. However, Salesforce has disabled the creation of new Connected Apps by default and has begun the path toward End of Support. We strongly recommend migrating to the ECA framework to ensure long-term business continuity and continued support.

If you use Paynet Direct, Aurora Identity, Commercial Credit (D&B), or the Intake Guest / Applicant Portal (MagicLink), you may have a Connected App configured today. The recommended action is simple: migrate to an External Client App as part of your next product upgrade.

Any salesforce administrator can confirm what is configured in your org in a couple of minutes:

  1. In Salesforce, click the gear icon and choose Setup
  2. In the Quick Find box, type App Manager. Connected Apps appear in the list with a type of Connected (External Client Apps show a type of External Client App).
  3. To review authorized/active OAuth connections, in Quick Find type Connected Apps OAuth Usage to see which apps are actually in use.
