The Solution Architect Senior position is a senior-level role. You will lead the software requirements and definition of leasing and lending solutions for Northteq clients. SA’s are assigned multiple projects at a time. You will be assigned to lead project teams of various sizes. Within the first 3 months of employment, you will be required to learn Northteq’s products and lead implementations without assistance from others. This role is expected to be an expert in the following:

  • Salesforce
  • Business Analysis/Consulting
  • Salesforce configuration and design
  • Northteq’s products and processes

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Software requirements gathering, software solutioning and acceptance criteria definition. This includes leading meetings and workshops with clients.
  • Software requirements, software solution documentation, acceptance criteria and user guide documentation.
  • Identify business process improvements including re-engineering processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Assess and project the impact of system changes on users and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Configure Salesforce and Northteq’s products.
  • Test software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and implement resolutions.
  • Work with others to drive complex issues to closure.
  • Liase and work with other internal groups such as engineering, product and support.
  • Train clients on software solutions.
  • Guide clients in implementation best practices and manage client expectations towards project goals and objectives.
  • Size work effort, identify task dependencies and create project schedules.
  • Train, mentor, guide and review the work of less experienced SA’s.
  • Contribute to the improvement of professional services process, methodology and templates.
  • Achieve billable targets.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or system engineering.

Education and certifications can be earned in role.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must understand the full software development life cycle.
  • Must display all of Northteq’s core values.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and communicate status appropriately and timely.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others on project and software options and approaches.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences of various levels at the client (executive, management, individual contributors).
  • Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Must have 5+ years’ experience in three of the following areas:
    • Equipment finance, leasing or general commercial lending experience.
    • Business analyst or consulting experience.
    • Salesforce experience.
    • Software implementation experience.
  • Experience working for a vendor implementing packaged applications for clients is preferred but not required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This position is remote.
    • If the employee is located in the Twin Cities Metro area of MN, office space can be provided in our WeWork office. 
  • There may be occasional in person meetings.
  • Travel is minimal but can increase based on client needs.
