Developer II

Position Description:

Developer II for Northteq LLC. dba Northteq, Excelsior, MN.

Develop APIs through test-driven development techniques to integrate with other systems by building and implementing RESTful APIs to enable communication between Salesforce/external systems. Complete the full formal software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Salesforce front-end development, Apex, Lightning Web Component development, integrations, process and flows, current SFDC UI options, Java, C#, and other object-oriented programming languages. Leverage wide range of Salesforce tools/features, including customized workflows, Apex object-oriented programming language, Lightning App Builder for application development, user profiles, permission sets, roles, and hierarchy configuration, as well as automation using process builders, workflows, and triggers on objects like rollups, along with UI implementations and customizations. Develop Cloud Based Solutions using Salesforce.com framework: JavaScript, Apex, and Lightning Web Components, integrations, process and flows, and current SFDC UI options. Utilize recommended set of tools, including Gearset for simplified deployment and version control, Copado for release management and automation, and Visual Studio Code for writing and editing Salesforce-related code. Utilize Salesforce declarative functions to build workflow processes and leverage Salesforce’s query languages and database concepts (SOQL, SOSL, stored procs, and schema design) to interact with database. Understand/use database management languages such as SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language), SOSL (Salesforce Object Search Language), stored procs, and schema design to query/manipulate data within Salesforce platform. Apply Solid Software engineering principles (including data structures, OO, design patterns, and multithreading) to conduct business analysis and consulting with both internal and external customers. Collaborate closely with other developers, business analysts, and solution architects. Engage in code reviews, solution design discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions to ensure adherence to best practices, maintain high code quality, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement and learning. Collaborate closely with clients in both project/support roles. Provide post-implementation support to clients, promptly addressing any issues, questions, or concerns that arise; work collaboratively to identify/implement solutions that minimize disruption to their business operations. Remote work permitted from anywhere within the United States.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
