We are seeking an experienced Account Executive with a track record of closing enterprise software deals and managing complex sales cycles. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in building relationships with existing customers, building & managing pipeline, and exceeding quota targets. Strong preference to candidates that have demonstrated success in a start-up environment and bring their own creativity to prospecting into new accounts. We are looking for someone that will help shape our sales team as we grow, someone that is not afraid to challenge existing processes and always looking for ways to improve our internal processes and find new ways to generate revenue with new and existing accounts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Drive new business revenue through outbound prospecting, solution selling, and relationship building for upsell opportunities
- Manage complex enterprise sales cycles from with financial institutions and equipment finance companies through contract negotiation and close ($100k ACV, 4-8 month sales cycles)
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders including CEOs, COOs, CIOs, IT and equipment finance leaders
- Develop and execute account strategies to maximize revenue potential
- Understand and convey Northteq’s value proposition to prospects and clients
- Attend industry conferences several times a year to prospect new business opportunities and manage existing accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams including product, engineering, and customer success to communicate market needs, customer requirements and their business objectives
- Partner closely with your Solutions Architect to create and deliver compelling presentations and product demos
- Accurately forecast sales pipeline and keeping Salesforce up to date

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Consistent history of exceeding quota ($1M+ annually)
- Experience selling solutions to C-level executives
- Strong understanding of enterprise software, SaaS, and technology landscape
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and sales tools
- Ability to create big-picture software stories and present ideas in a clean, user-friendly way.
- Motivated, results driven, and the ability to work independently
NICE TO HAVE
- Equipment finance or fintech experience a plus.
- Technical product sales experience a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position is remote.
- If the employee is located in the Twin Cities Metro area of MN, office space can be provided in our WeWork office.
- There may be occasional in-person meetings.
- Travel is minimal.
