The Developer III position is a senior-level role and will be assigned multiple projects at a time. You may be part of a larger project team of Solution Architects and Developers. Within the first 3 months of employment, you will be required to learn Northteq’s products and develop with little assistance from others.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Developing Cloud Based Solutions using the Salesforce.com framework: Javascript, Apex, and Lightning Web Components.
- Developing APIs to and from other systems: RESTful APIs to other systems.
- Using the Salesforce declarative functions to build workflow processes.
- Work closely with other developers and business analysts.
- Work closely with our many clients.
Employee is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or equivalent experience.
- Has a passion for software development.
- Is eager to learn both new technical skills and industry knowledge.
- Is comfortable working in a consulting environment and interfacing with customers
- Can shift nimbly to manage multiple priorities.
- Ideally has experience in Salesforce front-end development, Apex, Lightning Web Component development, integrations, process and flows, and current SFDC UI options.
- Salesforce Developer I/II certification is desired, but not required if you can show significant experience in Salesforce development, or extensive experience in OOP/web programming and a passion for learning SFDC.
- Prior experience working with modern databases is needed.
- Must have prior development experience in Java, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience in the lending or finance industry a plus.
Education and certifications can be earned in role.

- Equipment finance, leasing or general commercial lending experience.
- Business analyst or consulting experience.
- Salesforce experience.
- Software implementation experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position is remote.
- If the employee is located in the Twin Cities Metro area of MN, office space can be provided in our WeWork office.
- There may be occasional in-person meetings.
- Travel is minimal but can increase based on client needs.
