Kristian was the former co-owner and founder of the Salesforce.com practice at Tamarack. Prior to Tamarack, he was the CEO & founder of E2E Systems, who built and implemented commercial lending and equipment finance loan origination software. He brings 18 years of Loan Origination expertise as well as 20+ years of software development.
Lara Tolland
Director of Professional Services
Lara is responsible for client delivery. She brings over 18 years of software implementation experience, of which the past 13 have been in the commercial loan origination space. Prior to Northteq, Lara grew a professional services team from the ground up, and has a wealth of knowledge in creative problem solving, identifying project approaches that meet stakeholder goals, and driving teams towards successful implementations.

Jeff is responsible for technical architecture and development of products and professional services. He brings nearly 20 years of relevant industry and software engineering experience, including over ten years in the technical delivery and development of origination systems for the financing industry.

Shawn has been in the lending industry for more than 20 years with technology and consulting firms. He has worked with many of the equipment finance software platforms in both originations and servicing, giving him expertise in the end to end equipment finance lifecycle. This gives him a great perspective to bring technology solutions for the lending process.

With over 10 years of experience in Human Resources, Melissa has always had a passion for people and loves using her knowledge to help others grow and achieve success. Prior to joining Northteq, she was a Complex Director of Human Resources in the hospitality industry. She has been SHRM – SCP Certified since 2018 (Senior Certified Professional through Society of Human Resource Management) and CLC Certified since 2019 (Certified Life Coach through Life Purpose Institute).

Katy has spent over 10 years as a Project Manager in the finance and technology industries. Heading up client delivery, Katy brings a wealth of experience managing and coaching teams through unique projects; highlights include large scale conferences for over 40,000 people, business transformations, and multi-year, multi-million dollar software implementations. She is also PMP certified and Prosci Change Management certified. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and hiking with her dog.

Mike is a dedicated finance professional with a passion for scaling strategic finance functions within SaaS companies. Prior to Northteq, Mike played pivotal roles in two successful startups, driving over 60+% year-over-year growth and facilitating three capital raises, including a $52M Series C at Total Expert. His expertise spans financial systems implementation, financial modeling, and cash management. Mike's career reflects a commitment to leveraging financial insights to foster business growth and innovation.
Director of Sales
Blake has spent the last 14 years in SaaS sales. He started his career with LinkedIn as one of their first salespeople, and since then, has joined multiple startups to build their sales teams from scratch. His experience covers SMB to Enterprise new business, account management, and customer success. When he’s not working on closing deals, you can find him skiing in the winter and fly fishing in the summer.
